PTI cannot give more than a month for dissolving the assemblies. The Election Commission is in a hurry against Tehreek-e-Insaf and Imran Khan. He said that the PTI is demanding the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner and his members, it is not possible that this Election Commission will be able to hold a transparent election. The change of Election Commission is inevitable, the only way to political and economic stability is general elections.
Fawad said that the PTI has decided that a big meeting will be held in Islamabad in the next 48 hours. In the meeting, the party will give a deadline to the government to dissolve the assemblies. He said that the party leadership thinks that it will not give more than one month to this government. If, this regime stray more time in power then they will destroy the country’s economy.
Decision not to dissolve Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assemblies
Earlier, PTI decided not to dissolve Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assemblies. PTI fears that if the assemblies are dissolved, the federal government can impose governor’s rule, if the National Assembly is not dissolved, both the provincial assemblies will complete their term, if two provincial assemblies are dissolved, the Election Commission will hold elections.
The legal team has opined that if the PTI dissolves the assemblies to put pressure on the federal government for elections, then the federal government can essentially impose governor’s rule in these provinces while the government can hold elections at the provincial level. Therefore, it has been decided that the assemblies should complete their full term.
