ISLAMABAD (our reporter):- Pakistani authorities has reported 620 fresh corona cases and 4 deaths during last 24 hours in the country on Wednesday.

The fresh cases were diagnosed after testing of 16,704 patients countrywide on Tuesday. The new number of cases pushed up country’s coronavirus positivity ratio to 3.71% and the number of total cases to 1,551,871 so far, according the the National Institute of Health (NIH).

The NIH Islamabad further reported that four patients died due to Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, taking Pakistan’s coronavirus death toll to 30,474.

Meanwhile, 588 people recovered from COVID-19 due to course of treatment. However, 191 people are still in critical condition, as per NIH.

After the new recoveries and deaths, the country’s active COVID-19 case count moved to 7,660 overnight.

It is pertinent to mention here that positivity ratio of corona cases were recorded at 2.76 percent with 370 fresh cases were reported yesterday. The authorities had reported one death during 24 hours on Tuesday.
