ISLMABAD: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet will review the Ramzan Package tomorrow for providing essential commodities to common man at subsidized rates through Utilities Stores during the month of Ramzan
According to the agenda of the meeting, the ECC meeting will be held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Finance SHaukat Tarin tomorrow (Tuesday).
The ECC will take up a summary regarding Ramzan Package forwarded by Ministry of Industry. The Government provides essential commodities to common man at subsidized rates during the month of Ramzan every year.
The Committee will also likely to approve a summary about technical supplementary grant to Pakistan Military Accounts Department for conversion of Pensioners to Direct Credit System. The summary was forwarded by Ministry of Defence.
It will also review the summary regarding technical Supplementary Grant of Rs3.5 billion for the project titled “Pak University of Engineering and Emerging Technologies” under (Knowledge Economy Initiative). The meeting will also look the summary forwarded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs regarding G-20 Debt Services Suspension Initiative.
The meeting also review the requests regarded to letter of Comfort and re-issuance of Existing Bank Guarantee in favour of Faysal Bank Limited (As “Agent/Investment Agent”) for new Finance Agreement WRT Pipeline infrastructure Development Project LNG-II, Re-Allocation of OGDCL’s Jhal Magci Gas to Sui Southern Gas Company and allocation of Gas from Mari (Deep) gas reservoir to Sui Northern Gas company.
